I have been searching for the perfect pillow for years without success. All I wanted was a pillow that allowed me to sleep on my side, stomach, and back PAIN FREE. It needed shoulder and neck support so when I slept on my side my shoulder would not be squished and my neck would stay aligned; AND it had to be thin enough to allow me to sleep on my back. The pillows I purchased (Some for much more than $69.00) for "side sleeping" were too high if I rolled over on my back. The "back sleeping" pillows did not have the shoulder support I needed.

Then, around my 37th birthday, I noticed a new wrinkle above my upper lip. In the morning it was very noticeable and deep. At first it would fade as the day went on, but eventually it never went away at all! I tried to adjust my pillow at night so I slept on the edge to keep my face from being compressed, but I ended up whacking my husband in the head with the other end of the pillow.

So one day I thought to myself, "I can sew! There is no reason why I can't make myself the perfect pillow!" I made my first pillow that day with extra fabric I had left over from making my daughter curtains. I slept on it that night and when I woke up (almost pain free) I went to work on making improvements. After several months and LOTS of prototype pillows later, the Shuteye Butterfly was perfect. Now I sleep pain free and with no more compression wrinkles! That big bad boy that started it all is barely even noticeable any more!
